6/20/02: Well, I've been on clear liquids now since noon. I had a really nice day at work. Some of my friends went together and bought me a nightgown, housecoat, slippers and magazines. And they also bought me my favorite pizza and brownies for lunch(my last meal)for a while. Everyone there has been so supportive. I can't believe I haven't had even one negative comment. I have to be at the hospital tomorrow at 11:30 a.m. which will be nice since I live a couple hours away. So far, I'm just very excited . Not nervous at all. Hopefully, I will stay that way tomorrow. The next time I post I will be on the losing side. Yippee!!!

Congratulations on your surgery tomorrow!!! I hope things go really well for you and that you recover quickly. Good luck with everything. I am having my surgery on Aug 16th.
