"My initial consultation was on 12/27/00 and this was my first chance to meet Dr. Scholten. I have received wonderful information about his abilities as a surgeon from some of his former patients, and glowing recommendations from my primary care physician and my physician's assistant. I was a little concerned about the waiting time but I understood the reason for the wait once I talked to him. He was very thorough and really ensured that I understood. He apologized for being late but it really was not necessary. His nurse had explained that he had to take a call from another dr regarding a patient. I respected being advised of the reason for the delay and thought I can appreciate a dr who will put something on hold to attend to the needs of a patient. "
