Hello, well I am back. Physically, and emotionally that is. I had a pouch leak that was discovered the day after surgery, so I had two surgeries in as many days. No gorey details, but after 12 days in the hospital I was able to come home. It has not been easy. However, my God is a Mighty God who heals and saves. In my case He did both. I am walking each day and will return to work on Sept 4. I can see the weight melting away, it is pretty cool to watch it go. Sorry it took me so long to update, but I really was not able for several weeks physically, and then it took me awhile to start connecting the dots mentally and emotionally. Glad to be here. Cheryl

Cheryl...I just noticed your surgery date when looking through the site today. I hope that all went well and that you will be as happy with your new "life" as I am with mine. I'm 3 months post op today and couldn't be happier if I tried! Take care....you're in my thoughts. Heather

Cheryl~I wish you the best with your surgery tomorrow.10 weeks and 47 lbs later I can definately say this is the greatest thing I have ever done for myself! Keep us posted on your progress. Gos Bless~Kim
