HI THERE, I SENT YOU AN EMAIL I THOUGHT YOU MIGHT ENJOY. I WANT CONGRATULATE YOU!! YOU HAVE DONE VERY WELL WITH YOUR WLS. MY HUSBAND, BIG WILLIE (DOUGLAS WILSON) AND I HAVE BOTH HAD THE SURGERY. HELLO THERE BIG SLIM, BIG WILLIE HERE!!! SO GLAD TO HEAR THAT YOU ARE LOSING LIKE CRAZY. I HAD MY WLS ON 10-9-01 IN SAN DIEGO. I LOST 51 LBS THE FIRST 2 WEEKS. SURE, A LOT OF IT WAS FLUID, BUT THAT IS WHAT I NEEDED TO LOSE. I WILL FIND OUT HOW MUCH MORE I HAVE LOST IN 2 WEEKS WHEN I GO BACK TO MY DR. MY SCALE AT HOME WILL NOT HOLD ME YET, I STARTED OUT AT 448 LBS AND IT ONLY GOES TO 350. YOU KNOW, WE ARE GOING TO HAVE TO DROP THE "BIG" FROM OUR NAMES SOON. I WISH YOU CONTINUING LUCK AND GOOD HEALTH.

hello brothers and sisters, just taking a minute to update. as of oct. 15, 2001 i have lost 112.2 pounds, dr. kirkpatric says i am doing well and to keep up the good work. i feel much better now, but after the surgery (while in the hospital)i, began to experience sharp pains in my left shoulder to neck. i told the doctors while in the hospital. my sisters (works at two other hospitals) said sometimes due to the length of time on the table and the fact that the tables at not big people friendly, you arm may hang off, thus causing the pain. my advise if you can even remeber you name when you are wheeled into the room is ask them to have some sort of support for you arms/legs if they are wider than the table. i go weigh in on 11-19 hoping to be atleast 130 down. my pant size has dropped from 68 to 52 man i feel good, besides i still had some smalle clothes in my closet. now i have to go shopping when i need to dress up but my grocery bill and dinning out bill is considerably less. well i be back later.oh yeah i started at 478.8 now (4 1/2 months) 366.6.

hi jerome i am glad surgery went well for you. I had open rny on 6/1 and am doing fine.I have lost 46 and man I am happy so I know how you feel. I go to the ymca for water arobic 3 time a week ,How you like getting back into your clothed. I have a lot to get back into but am having fun with it. I can eat my meats without any problems but I did the same thing you did , trying to drink and eat too. won't do that no mo.:>) . keep up the good work and write me if you get chance. I have a page here also. My name is william Richars but am called Henry, my middle namenickname is bigfun.I will explain that one day . always have fun with it,, Henry. oh yea I am married my wife is Cathy she plan to have surgery in aug. or sep. not sure of the date yet. give my hello to your wife

hello everyone i 'm sorry i have not posted since my "date" but when i was in the hospital i gave my wife the directions and password to post that my surgery was great, however it took 6 hours and i was in the recovery room for 24 hours. once in my room i made it good as i could. my surgery was 5/24 and on 6/4 i lsot 23 pounds to date (6/27) i have lost 54 pounds. i have not had any sickness except one time i ate and drank at the same time i threw up and felt better. well got to go.

hi jerome I pray your surg, will go Great and you will have a great recovery. I can be your long distance angel because i live in mississippi but i will pray that you find an angel close if that is what you want. ill be be joining you on the lighter side may 29. God bless glenda
