Sandy, I was reading your message about Aetna and had to share my experience. They have really been a good insurance and not given me any grief until I wanted to have this surgery. I got everything together. Had all my stuff together and thought it would be no time before I was approved. Boy was I wrong. I was turned down twice. After I got really ugly with the ins. co. rep. I was told by another co-worker that I could go through my fiduciary (the company that is responsible for the ins.) and they could override. I basically told them that if i couldn't have the surgery, that I would have to have two surgeries ( need my gall bladder out) more tests, two hospital admits, the works. My company was more than willing to over-ride Aetna and agree to the surgery, the extra that I saved them was worth it. I am now waiting for the surgeon to work me in for surgery. I hope yours goes really good. Zaine

Sandy, July 16 is just around the corner, so keep your chin up. I have Aetna too, so now I am a little worried. And the LOMN is on its way to them! I will be thinking of you!
