it's 5am...ive been up alll night which is typical lately. Lay in bed and worry about not being able to have the surgery for some reason or having complications after surgery.goofy i know. I would probably do less worrying if I felt I could talk about it MORE. But i don't want to go on and on and drive my family crazy. So I don't talk about it at ALL. Just 2 weeks before i see the surgeon..but every day drags by so S L O W. I am very grateful though that i got approved: i know some people don't. I just worry about getting "stopped" along the way. If i was going to get "stopped" I just have soon it happened earlier than later. :)

Congratulations on your approval and successful battle with your insurance company. You can come on over to the losing side now! Yeah!

I've been approved on the insurance after my 2nd appeal. Doesn't pay 100% but it certainly helps, so I am not complaining. Consult with the surgeon March 3. Hope he finds everything in order. My main concern is a large hiatal hernia which I HOPE can be repaired at the same time as the RNY. This message board has been such a help to me. Esp enjoy the updates from the post-ops, find them encouraging and enlightening. :)
