Richard Boorse
"Dr. Boorse operated on me for an emergency appendectomey a few years ago. He did an excellent job and I felt I was treated in a caring way with respect. When I found out via an advertisement he was preforming RNY surgery I knew right away this was what I wanted to do. I felt secure in knowing this surgeon. The only negative is the long wait. First to get a consultation and then to get a surgery date. It just shows the demand for surgery and the limited surgeons available. Dr. Boorse is top in lap surgery at Lehigh Valley Hopspital and I feel it is well worth the wait. Also, I'm sure he gains more experience and knowledge with each surgery. I was pretty well informed when I had my consultation but he still drew diagrams and told about all the posible complications etc. I also was given a packet with a complete post-op diet and information on a local support group and web sites. His office staff has also been nice and helpful!"
