I am glad you did well with your surgery. Welcome to the other side. The next few weeks will be a challange but it is all worth it. I am 4 weeks post op and down 36 lbs already.

Susan, congratulations on making a safe journey to the losing side. May peace and love surround you on your continuing journey. Remember to drink your water, take your vitamins, walk daily and most importantly, be gentle with yourself along the way. Lastly, don't forget to stop by occasionally and update your profile. As you know, our profiles provide a lifeline to others embarking on this journey. You never know who you might inspire!

hi all. this is chuck, sue's husband. i want to tell all that sue came out of her operation today doing very well. doctor said there was no complications. hopefully she will be home tomorrow, if not saturday. i want to say i am very proud of my wife and her desire to rid herself of her excess weight, which was affecting her health. i also want to say my love, and more importantly my respect for her which has always been the highest couldn't be stronger than it is right now. sue is an incredible person, we've been together 29 years now, and she just took a chance on her life that will give us hopefully another 29 years. please say thanks to God tonight that she came thru it ok, and i'll say thanks to God for giving me sue.... chuck
