I'm so glad that you didn't have any complications, as for me I've had 3 "upper GI’s" (barium tests) and 2 ediscopes. Too bad I didn't receive the same quality service and attention that you received. But then again I don't really know you or your pre-op, post-op care.
I just know that I had complications and Dr. Rose choose not to do any thing about it. So I went to a Gastroentoloist specialist in Mobile, and found out that my stomach outlet (small bowel) was too small in diameter for me to have any food. And that was the reason for me to vomit 14-17 times in a day. Thank god, Dr. Rodning of the University of South Alabama and Dr. Major Franklin of Keesler AFB Hospital, acted quickly in ordering an endiscope to help relive the pressure in my stomach.
I certainly hope you live a long and prosperous life, but until you have walked in my shoes don't try and tell me how wonderful Dr. Rose and Brian are, because I guess I saw them (5 times post-op) on their bad days. You know someone has to be the statistic. Dana V.
