"My first impression of Dr Alston was that he was very calm and relaxed. He didn't get in a rush to tell me about the proceedure or to ask questions of me. He took his time, asked questions of me, and didn't mind at all when I asked questions of him. He was not impatient in anyway. He was very personable and friendly. His staff was just the same: friendly and immediately put me at ease. He was very forthright about what he expects regarding after care. The surgery risks were addressed in a video tape that we watched before actually meeting with him for the exam, after which we could ask questions. I fully believe I am making the right choice in a surgeon. (The only downside about this office is that he is extremely booked! I was at first told that my appt would be 5 months away for the first consult. But fortunately there was a cancellation and I was able to get in much sooner.)
