Thanks Susan, I tried to email but it was returned for over quota...so I sent it to you here...I was just wondering if this is normal. I have been losing the inches so that is nice and I would suppose that by not losing so much weight right away that my skin might be able to keep shrinking...At least I am hoping it does...lol...and I suppose that since I am walking now I am building muscle and losing fat...and yea my job is sitting...grrrrr...but I do get to be up and around some of the time..but nothing to physical...walking around and doing some stairs...thanks again...Hugs Brenda

Hi-de-ho!!! I am now down to 235 from 281 in just a little over 2 months( 68 days to be exact!)I feel GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!! Eating mostly anything I want... small small portions... and tryng to do the protein thing first and foremost!!!Wouldn't change it if I could!!!! I absolutely am amazed at how I can now take 2 bites of something and be full and how my ability to do any form of exercise without feeling like I am having a heart attack!!! I keep reading about a AMOS family get together...wouldn't that be so great??? Like a convention or something... where we could all network together and maybe hear speakers on different topics??? I would travel across the country to be able to attend...Hope it comes to a reality someday soon! For those preparing for surgery this week... keep the faith... God is Good... All the time!! Susan

Congrats to you we are about the same on our post op I am 5weeks out and 35lbs and I was also I was afraid of being that 1% but seems to be happening slowly but surely. Great success to you Rosita

Hi everyone!!! I think I may have moved off of that dreaded plateau that I have been on for te last 2 weeks!!! I have now lost 36 lbs!!!! in just 6.5 weeks.... WHEW!!!!!!!! I was beginning to think that I was going to be in that 1 % that my Dr. told me about who for whatever reason this surgery does not work for them!!! NO WAY do I want to be in that category!!! I mean this has been a tough row to hoe in the last 6 weeks...although I will admit each and every day gets better and better!!! I am so proud of myself!!! I am a self proclaimed chocoholic and I have been without chocolate for 6.5 weeks!!! Even with all of the trick or treaters last night I have never cheated!!! To be perfectly honest... I have lost my desire for chocolate!!! Not to mention I am scared to death of dumping... it hasn't happened to me yet and I pray it never does!!! God speed to all who are waiting for approval and all who are having surgery... For those who are like me and having slow weight loss... keep the faith...God will give you the desires of your heart!!!
