Good luck and God Bless! The first week or two is tough, but after that it is not bad at all. The worst part for me was not being able to drink for a few days. I did not have any pain from the surgery itself. The only time it hurt was when they moved me or made me get up. The more you move the better it is. It really makes a difference, everytime you get up and walk the easier it is next time.

I had my Lap RNY on 02/12/03 and I am down 58 lbs! Be sure and take some chapstick with you to the hospital! I know you are happy, excited, and nervous...I sure was! But you will do great! Please keep in touch after you get back home and keep me updated!! God Bless! Peggy

In all things Remember, that the one above loves you, that He holds us all in his loving arms,He knows each of us by name.He said anything you ask for in "my name" will be given to you.So in His name I pray for you, that you be given strength, endurance, love, peace and most of all long life.In Jesus' name. When you wake up and see the faces of your loved ones in the recovery room, know that you have made it.Thank Him,Know that you have been blessed to see and to live out the rest of your days with the ones you love and the ones who love you.....Knowing that He loves you too. Happy soon to be ReBirthday.
