"Dr Fischer came right in and introduced his self to me. We talked and he asked me his questions and I asked him mine. The Office Staff I dealt with at Baptist South were great. They have a Rude Twit at the Baptist East office though. He informed of all the risk involved with this surgery and yes I asked him the BIGGEST question and No he has not lost anyone from this surgery. He seemed to be tired and even a little exhausted but I think he handled everything in the right way and he didn't not make me feel rushed. He sent me for lab work to make sure I don't have the bacteria that causes stomach ulcers. If I have it he will put me on an antibiotic to get rid of it before surgery. He is a perfectionist so I feel like I will be in good hands. April 9 2003 1 week after surgery. Dr Fischer is wonderful. He checked on me at least 3 times a day in the hospital and even called the nurses real late the the night I had my surgery to check on me. He also called me the day after I got home to check on me. He is a great surgeon. I have not had any real pain at all. I would do this again in a heartbeat and only if he would do it. Thank You Dr. Fischer!!!!!!! oh yeah, 15 pounds gone in 1 week too lol "
