Hi Bridgett, Congratulations on your new surgery! It's so great that you're feeling good and I wanted to advise you to keep wearing your BINDER for as long as you can. It was a life-saver for me;I only wore it through my sixth week but probably should have worn it longer. Remember to walk as much as you can and sip water all day (except with meals, of course!) God Bless!!!

Hi Everyone, I came home yesterday, the hardest thing I had to do was to figure out how I was going to lie in the bed, since it was so different from the hospital. The hospital bed was a Bari Care Bed, it reclines you to a sitting position to get up, I was so thankful for that bed and the pain medicine. I want to thank everyone for the support pre op and I hope it will continue thereafter, I can't wait till this grass starts turning green on this side, but my journey has started. Thanks again.

Bridgett! I just talked to her on the phone. I had a lap surgery 2 day ago and she had an open surgery today. She sounded much better than I was on Monday. I'm so glad that she is going so well. We'll be the losing buddies! Speedy recovery and call me or email me whenever you feel up to it. Get some rest because I'm going to... XOXO Emily

Hello everyone, I just spoke with Bridgett and she is doing wonderful. She was up and walking at 10 am this morning and is in a normal room already. She says she is glad for the pain button due to the stomach spasms, but other than that she is doing fine. I will be visiting Bridgett tonight and will post again tomorrow. Good luck Bridgett to your new life.
