Bump, clank, thunk.....^i^ NEWBIE ANGEL^i^ coming in for a landing.....EXTRA, EXTRA my Bestest WLS Buddy, Sherri Hildebrandt has a date!!!!! HOORAY!!!!! Sherri will offically become a LOSER on the morning of May 2nd! Please stop by her surgery page, and offer warm and encouraging words. I ask that you also keep Sherri, her husband Mike, and her 2 little angels in your thoughts and prayers. As time draws near, I am sure that your warm words will bring her great comfort and peace. Sherri, congratulations on your upcoming surgery. May peace and love surround you on your journey and carry you along safely. Remember to drink your water, take your vitamins, walk daily and most importantly, be gentle with yourself along the way. Lastly, don't forget to stop by occasionally and update your profile. As you know, our profiles provide a lifeline to others embarking on this journey. You never know who you might inspire!

I have a surgery date of May 2nd!!!!!I posted this before but the message board went down and I never saw it on there. I am so excited!!! And scared!!!! I go to surgeons office April 17th, then April 25th I go to hospital for pre-op and one week later May 2nd 11:00am I have open RNY. I cant wait to be a "loser"!!! I don't post very much but I go to this site everyday, my DH says I'm obsessed!!! lol Oh-well. I just want to thank everyone for their encouragement, not only to me, but for all of the wonderful people on this site. I could not do this with out everyone's support. I also want to send a special thanks to my new friend and angel, Kim Bachus. She is pre-op also and we are going to support each other through this journey. I have other friends, but no one understands what you're going through and the ups and downs of this journey better than someone who is on the same road you're on. Again, Thank you. and keep me in your thoughts and prayers. Sherri

*Putting on my newly starched wings and adjusting my shiny halo* I am so excited!!!! This is my first opportunity to be an angel,and to a most wonderful lady, Sherri Hildebrandt of Louisiana. Sherri is finally approved! HOORAY!!! I am so thrilled for her. Sherri and I met through this board just a short time ago, and already we are soooooo close. We live about 2 hours apart, and are using the same surgeon. Sherri doesn't have a date as of yet, but she feels that it won't be long. Hopefully within the next month. I ask that you please take the time to send her a few words of encouragement. I am still a new, pre-op, so I can't share any WLS experiences, but I am hoping that many of you will be able to "take up my slack" in this area! My prayers are with Sherri and all pre-ops and post-ops. I am so proud to have found this board. Although I don't post much, I truly feel that I have "met" many friend just by reading your posts.
