I hope your surgery was "a piece of cake". Okay, enough with the food analogies. The main thing is to be gentle with yourself. Do your protein, water, exercise and vitamins as best you can. Only supportive people around you: the negative ones need not apply. Be prepared for a "plateau" in the first month or two. It could even last weeks (completely maddening but normal).
