CONGRATULATIONS DAWN!!! Welcome to the losing side. Dawn is doing well. She had a successful and uncomplicated surgery. She said that she is feeling a little better each day. I am so glad that all has gone good for you. I am hoping that you will be a big loser!!!!!! God Bless!

I have not heard anything on Daen. I called her house but have not talked to her or anyone. I am hoping that everything is ok.

Hi Dawn, I hope your surgery was "a piece of cake". Okay, enough with the food analogies. The main thing is to be gentle with yourself. Do your protein, water, exercise and vitamins as best you can. Only supportive people around you: the negative ones need not apply. Be prepared for a "plateau" in the first month or two. It could even last weeks (completely maddening but normal). Email us folks if you need help. I hope all your health and weight-loss dreams come true,

Thank you all so much for thinking of me. I am very nervous now, I have 21 more days. I am excited at the same time. I need an angel and I need to know how some post op's feel. Do you have a fairly "normal" life minus all the eating?
