Hi Ernie, I read about your emergency surgery on the message board and decided to drop you a line. We both have the same surgeon, I'm almost 10 months out. I'd just like to wish you a speedy recovery, and add that your weight loss is astounding. You are in my prayers

Congratulations on your 1-year anniversary, Ernie (I hope the info on your profile was correct about the date.) If not, congratulations, anyway :) You have been a great inspiration since I first spoke with you before my surgery in April, and it's been great to follow your progress!

Ernie -- Thanks so much for coming to visit me in the hospital. It was wonderful to see and talk with someone who had been through the pain I was feeling and be reminded of what a beautiful journey is ahead of me.
