Have you ever seen the movie: THE WIZARD OF OZ??? Well, soon you will be saying what the wicked witch said when Dorothy threw a bucket of water on her: "I'M MELTING!! I'M MELTING!!!" Those lbs will just melt off of you soon. You will soon be walking down the YELLOW BRICK ROAD to see the WIZARD OF OZ and your sweetest wish will be granted. Congratulations and good luck to you. My husband and I both had our open rny's at Pacific Bariatric in San Diego in 2001 and have lost a combined total of 325 lbs. YOU CAN DO IT TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hang in there! The worst part of the paperwork nightmare is behind you. I remember just being SO anxious to get my surgery date so I do understand. Know that we're all right there with you as you wait for that last bit of information. And we'll be here to welcome you to the losing side. Congratulations on the approval!

Hi Jaci--I'm also in WI, and had Open RNY on 12/19. Have lost 47 lbs as of 1/28. If you need an angel, I would love to volunteer. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
