Hello, I had my surgery on the July 9th also. I am still a little achy but doing pretty good. I have lost 36 lbs so far. And I get the dry heaves often. I was wondering how you was doing?

I would just like to add my congratulations to the pile of good wishes I know you are getting! I’m so glad to know that you’ve made it over to the “LOSING” side. (As some of the AMOS board likes to say!) I can’t wait until I join you! I pray that you will make good progess and heal quickly from your surgery. May God bless you and yours!

Hi all. I met Carol today, she is such a delightful lady. Her beautiful daughter was there with her, and she was supposed to come home today, a day early. I had to go to work right after seeing her, so I'm assuming she did come home. I'm sure she will be in soon to post all the details. GO CAROL!!!!!

I spoke to Carol around 6:30 this evening. She sounded like you'd expect the night of her surgery. She said the epidural didn't work. Where've I heard that before? LOL. Other than some pain, and weekness, she sounded great. I'm going to see her Thursday, finally get to meet her. Thanks to all of you who posted best wishes and prayers to her.

Hi, I called the hospital, Carol is out of surgery but that's all they would tell me. They said her daughter was there, spoke to the surgeon at 11:00, and left, so I don't know if she's gone to a different waiting area, or what. My family did, so she might have. I will call again from work, if I can. For anyone wanting to post to her, she's listed in the Peers section under Fort Lee,Virginia. Thanks for the one who emailed me asking where to find her.
