I met Lori through a friend of mine. I am going to have surgery on the 26th of April. Lori gave me some great advice and good ideas for pre- and post op. Thank you Lori, I appreciate you all the way from Texas. Also congrats on the century mark......

*** Angel Update *** Lori successfully completed her surgery! The first evening after the surgery I believe was the most difficult. The pain was present and there was much discomfort from the tubes. The second day was encouranging as Lori sat up for the first time. By Sunday she passed the swallow test and had her first sips of water (4-ou. in 1-ou. intervals). Determined, she took her first steps. First to the end of the hall, then to the other end. She began experiencing nausea and lower abdominal pain. Hope to report next on when she'll be going home. Keep Lori in your prayers!

Lori is still in CCU. I could not really get any information cause I am not a family member. The nurse told me she is doing fine but I could not find out anymore. Please let Lori know we are all hoping for her quick recovery!
