Ivy, prayers and warm wishes on your upcoming surgery. Just a quick comment about your recent post about insurance, in most states if not across the nation an insurer cannot deny anything that is considered pre-exsisting as long as you can prove you had prior insurance coverage before they took your case. Hope everything goes well.
Okay... NOW I am pissed! Okay, I get a call today from Ruth at Dr. Wongsa's office. Looks like my insurance MIGHT not cover the surgery. Something to do about whether or not I was treated for my "condition" in the 12 months PRIOR to my new health plan coverage! Blah Blah Blah! I ain't trying to hear none of that. I have SIX DAYS until my surgery! Well, I should know something late this afternnon or early tomorrow. I will keep you guys posted. By the way, I was never diagnosed with Morbid Obesitey until I WAS covered. And I never looked into the surgery until I HAD insurance (DUH!).

Ivy, make sure and let the anesthesiologist know that you had the trouble before, they will likely give you some medicine to prevent the anxiety this time if they know. God Bless and may you have a wonderful and uneventful recovery! Mary
I am definetly on a endless roller coaster ride right now. I think I more nervous about the anesthesia. I had a bad experience before.... Woke up screaming! I am sure everything will be ok! 'Til next time! Ivy
To dream anything that you want to dream, that is the beauty of the human mind. To do anything that you want to do, that is the strength of the human will. To trust yourself, to test your limits, that is the courage to succeed.
