Keith's surgery is next Wednesday at Cabell Huntington Hospital. He is ao excited about his big day and looking forward to a better, slimmer life. Please go to his page and give him some support and prayers. He is one of the most caring people I've ever met and I love him and his family. I'm not sure of the time on Wednesday but I'll post it here soon as I receive it from Keith. Thanks for taking time out to post your prayers and support. God Bless.

Keith's surgery for tomorrow has been put on hold until July 30. His Mother is having a kidney removed on July 8 at Cleveland Clinic and Keith knew it would be nearly imposible for him to travel to Cleveland so soon after his big day. He's looking forward to his new date and continues to need your support and prayers for himself and his Mother.Thanks.

God bless you and your surgeon Keith. This is my acronym for getting through the first few weeks. It's the nurse in me ..haha W_A_T_E_R *Water...lots, more, and then more *Analgesics...fancy medical word for taking your pain medicine, you need to do that to keep moving. You won't become an addict in the short time you need it.So take enough to be comfortable. *Time for protein....Protein is on top of your list with water.Minimal 30 gms a day according to my dietician. I say more. *Exercise...Get up and walk as soon as you can talk them into it. Keep walking.Exercise your legs and calves while in bed by flexing your feet back and forth and bending your knees. It saves your life by preventing blood clots. *Relax...remember your body needs time to heal so get plenty of sleep and do those things that help you relax. Good luck. Seeya on the losing side. Keith, it's been rough, but soooo worth it. Don't let any of the pain or soreness get you down. It really does get better. I'm not even a week post op and I'm starting to feel almost normal again. I'll be praying for you.
