I spoke to Joe yesterday morning and he has had an awful time since he had surgery. He has had severe vomiting and can't keep anything down. He was on his way to the doctor yesterday and he assumed that they were going to admit him to the hospital and have to open him back up to see what the problem is. He is very nervous and scared, please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

I just spoke to Joe, he is still in the hospital but he is doing very good. He had his NG tube removed about 3 hours after surgery. He is fortunate enough to have the morphine pump so he can regulate his pain medication as he needs it. He said he had a lot of pain at first and almost regretted it but now he is a little better and they meay let him come home tomorrow. At least he can have Easter at home. He said to say hello to everyone and he will touch base as soon as possible.

This is Joe's angel, Christy and I just spoke to his nurse. He came through the surgery just fine and he was resting comfortably. the nurse was actually getting him ready for bed. His wife will be staying at the hospital with him, so that will be comforting to him. I will keep you updated as he progresses.

Hi, I am Joe's angel and I just called the hospital and they told me that he is still in the recovery room and will probably be in there for a while. I will try to call later tonight to get more of an update on he came through and will post again tomorrow.

Hi Joe.... Just wanted to say I am thinking about you and praying for you and I know that you will do well. I will be calling to check on you just as you did me and just remember to do everything they tell you, even if it hurts. The quicker you move, the faster the pain goes away. Good luck on the 12th and I will talk to you when you get to the other side.
