he also spoke of being involved in the fda trials. I liked what I saw so I flew from Florida to California to see him.
Tuesday, Oct 15th I had surgery. So far, my experience has been better than I hoped.
My first impression of the Dr. and the one I know today are different. At first he was so totally professional that he was almost cool but after my experience (surgery) he warmed up totally.
His staff are thoughtful and caring people but...extremely busy. This surgery is becoming more and more sought after.
I believe his aftercare program is great but I am too far away to participate.
I am anxiously awaiting his computer program interaction as soon as it is available. I'll let you know then what I think of it.
On a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being best),
I would rate my surgery and the Dr's surgical competence a 10.
On a less positive note, I think the information sent to my insurance company by the Dr's insurance person was not handled as well as I think it could have been. What was sent was not complete even though the Dr's office had all the information necessary, pysch eval, diet info, etc. So further info had to be sent 3 weeks later which held up the approval time. It makes the stressful time of waiting even worse with a surgery date looming."
