Hi Monica. WAY TO GO!!! I know you feel wonderful about your success so far. I had my surgery Jan. 24, 2003, and just went under the 300 pound mark. Started at 352, now 289. I know the feeling of hitting the 2's. Very proud of you. I will be in the century club soon (not soon enough for me). KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!! ~Sandy

Monica, CONGRATULATIONS on reaching the century club. You go girlie. You did a great job. Look out I'm on your heels LOL the other day my loss was 98 lbs. Don't know what it is today. scared to look. hehehe. I tell you!!! LOL Congrat to you again, keep it up. hugs

I'm pleased to report after just 7 months (surgery on October 2, 2003)that I've lost over one hundred pounds. I'm now at 298#, out of the 300's. It is great to be on this side coming down in weight! This surgery has truely altered my life for the better. I even face the challenges unrelated to my health with new insight and searching for the good side of the situation. Constantly looking for new tasty vegetarian dishes, especially if I can get the rest of the family to enjoy them too.
