"A couple things were dissappointing, my roommate had a lot of company which was totally understandable, but sometimes over 8 people at a time were there. Sometimes one would spend the night. The woman was just diagnosed with terminal cancer - I felt aweful for her. I can understand her family's need to be there. At the same time I was in pain and had trouble keeping my gown secured around me, had gas & diahrea and didn't like when her guests open my curtain to get my nurse to help her. Seems like they should have gotten her a private room or paired me with someone who had a similiar ailment. We complained 2x to the staff that I need some privacy and a call button that works. Bottom line, my roommate was a sweetheart, it was her family struggling to cope that stepped on my own patient rights."
