Sorry I haven't posted sooner.. I just got out of the hospital myself not too long ago!! I just called the hospital and Joyce was released yesterday to go home.... YEA!!!! I don't have her home phone number so I haven't been able to speak to her personally, but the fact that she was able to come home is great news!! I will update again as soon as I hear from her!!

Joyce has somewhat of a setback. When the doctor was re-attaching her intestines to her stomach he left a small opening causing leakage. Her original surgery was lapro. and later that day (after surgery) they had to go in and do an open to fix the problem. Joyce has been in intensive care since last Thursday and her daughter, Kim, says they hope she will get to go to a room by Sunday. Please keep Joyce in your prayers and I know she will pull through just fine!!!

I have just spoke to Joyce's daughter and Joyce made it through the surgery with flying colors. She is pretty groggy, but other than that, doing great! She is in room 209 if anyone wants to call her. I will update again soon!

Hi Joyce, I want to wish you the very best and let you know you will be in my thoughts and prayers in the days and weeks ahead. I had a minor stroke in May and I was afraid I wouldn't be able to have the surgery but thank God I finally got the approval and while you are in Houston, Tx having your surgery I will be in Augusta Me. having mine done the same day. It sure will be wonderful to have better health and the quality of live we all deserve. Good luck and God Bless.
