Hi Sandy, Hope everything went real well for you. I didn't get to wish you well before your surgery as they moved my date up to October 10th and I had only three days to get ready to go. I really appreciated your words of encouragement. My surgery went real well and I've been feeling good. My major complaint is that I still have two drainage tubes in that don't come out until Tomorrow. I am eagerly awaiting the weigh-in. So far not one single regret and I hope you feel the same. I talked to Sandy last night for about an hour. She's doing really good and is hoping they will let her go home either today or tomorrow. As for the eating thing, she really doesn't like to eat because it makes her feel sick. The hospital gave her ice cream and she had some and didn't have a pleasant experience from it. She feels really good considering the fact of what she just went through. She will try to get online as soon as she can. I'll let you know more as I hear it.

Well I just got off the phone with Sandy. She just had a HUGE scare tonight. She was having a little problem breathing and they thought she might have a blood clot in her lung or a pulmonary embolism. But the wonderful news is that she doesn't have either!!!!!!! The lower part of her lungs near her incision had collapsed, but with breathing treatments will be corrected. The doc said she might go home tomorrow, but with everything that has happened, they will have to see. I'll let you know as soon as I hear more!!!!!!!!

Hey everyone-the Rogue Angel again-I went and saw Sandy today and she looks amazing for 3 days post! She finally got that NG tube out and is feeling Much better! She was able to get some rest this morning and was surounded by family and friends! Congrats Sandy! You are on the other side!!

Well I got on last night to update everyone on Sandy, but somebody else did it. I just got off the phone with Sandy and she sounds good. She really wants them to take the GN tube out, but they say maybe tomorrow. She's gotten up and walked 3 different times. She's in some pain and really hasn't slept too much. She's had a lot of friends and family around. I'll update more when I talk to her tomorrow.

Un-official Angel Report on Sandy V. -Spoke with Christy, a friend of Sandy who said that she was out of surgery at 1pm and in her room at 2:00! She was doing fantastic and was lucid and talking up a storm. She did have some pain but the nurses were managing it well. She is hoping they will take the tube out of her nose tomorrow and will be up for a walk tonight if she is up to it! Please leave her a note on her surgery page and wish her speedy recovery!!
