Well I know it's been a long time since I have updated. I am still doing great! I finally hit the big 100! I have lost 100 pounds so far! I am so happy! Wish it was coming off faster, but I am trilled anyway. Just turned the big 40 on september 23rd, 2001. Most people have trouble wish the 40 birthday. Not me, I feel great!

Tammie Congradulations on the great weight loss! I know putting on that gown and not having half your back side exposed must have been a terrific feeling. Be proud of yourself for a job well done. God Bless Karla

Hello everyone! Sorry it's been so long since I have updated. I am doing great! Last Friday was 16 weeks since my surgery. I am feeling SO good! I have lost 70 pounds so far! Had to tell you all something great that happened to me today. I had to go in for a follow up chest CT scan.(Nothing to do with WLS) I had to put on one of those horrible gowns. But the great part is for the first time since I can remember. I was able to put on one of the regular size gowns. Not one of the larger size gowns, or even have to use two regular gowns to cover me. I was able to put on a regular size gown, and it fit, and covered me fine. I couldn't believe it! What an awesome feeling!

Helllo everyone! Thought I'd give a little up-date. Well it's been 4 weeks today. I am doing great. Haven't had any real problems. Had one bad one a week ago. It was all my fault though. I took a Tylnol without crushing it. I thought I was going to die! For about an hour I was in more pain then even the surgery! So take my advice new post-opts. DO NOT take any pills without crushing them. Besides that little dumb thing I am doing great! Still get tired, but as of my last doctor appointment on Wed. Feb. 28, 2001. I have lost 32 pounds! That's 32 pounds in 26 days! I can't believe it! I can already get into some clothes I haven't worn in a long time. What a great feeling! Well, hello everyone! I am on the other side! So sorry it has taken me so long for an update. I got out of the hospital Monday 2-5, I went straight to my moms house. She has been taking great care of me. I am staying in her basement which is a little apartment all in it self. I have all the comforts of home, except a computer! Everything went fine. As told before I spent one day & night in ICU. Because of my sleep apnea. Pretty out of it don't remember much. Then on to a regular room which I wasn't sure I was going to get because the whole hospital was full! Any way finally in a regular room Saturday night. Really wasn't having all that much pain even. By Monday I was mostly feeling uncomfortable, not pain. I slept very little. Finally figured out the pain pills would help with sleep, so I took some. Now as I said I am staying at moms. Really doing great! Starting to get a little bit stir crazy. That's how I got home for a little while. Told my husband to get me out of those four walls at lest for a little while. Been fussing about having no computer. He told me he'd take me out to a movie or we could go home for a couple of hours. So you see what I choose! Wanted to up-date all my friends/angels! Molly thanks so much for visiting me in the hospital! It really met a lot to me! Gypsy, I know you'll do great! I'll be there with you in spirt! Well gotta go for now! I just saw Tammie in the hospital. She looks great and says she feels ok. She spent an day in ICU because of her sleep apnea and an additional day waiting for a room. She should be coming home tomorrow. Welcome to the other side, Tammie!

Tammie, I know you are in good hands. You are in a wonderful hosiptal, and a great Doctor. I just had my surgery the 15 of Jan by Dr Anez also, I will keep you in my prayers. Welcome to the otherside. Jay Biller
