Wow! It's your one year anniversary! I am 2 years out today but wanted to check in and tell you to keep your chin up! Every second of this journey has been worth it for me and I hope that you are enjoying your new life as much as I am! Take care!

This is Michelle Davis of Maryland's Angel. I wanted to let everyone know that Michelle had her surgery on April 11 and seems to be doing better day-by-day. It is still hard to sleep in her bed at night, so thank God for her recliner. I will talk with her again soon and report to you later. Thanks for all your prayers and support.

Well I am home and after a mild heart attack 3 days after my surgery had to stay in a few extra days. Iam on beta blockers and have nitro tabs incase of any other chest pains. I will follow up with my heart doc on may 6th to see how my heart is. I find that I get very tired and weak durring the day but after I drink one of my ISOPURE protein shakes I have more enery. I find it very very hard to drink all the fluid I should be. Also I have dumped about 4 times due to either sugar or a cetain food not being able to be digested and it made me sick........trust me not only does it hurt until you throw it up but it wears you out and all you can do is sleep it off. My scar looks good but thats about the only thing that is really good now. I am not feeling my best and kinda am wondering what all I have done to myself.......we'll see how things go.

Best of luck, Michelle! I live in Forest Hill and am 5 months post-op. I'm not going to say you'll never regret the surgery (cause you will for a few weeks) but once you start feeling better and seeing results, you'll feel like an entirely new person! Enjoy the start of a new life!
