Susan, I wish you the best of luck with your surgery. I read your comments, and you seem like such a wonderful, spiritual person. You made me laugh and brought tears to me eyes. I know you will be successful. God has great plans for you! LIFE is GOOD!!! Best wishes, Heather Conley

Susan, best wishes for your upcoming surgery. I had mine last November, and I have never had a single regret. One thing that may help to remember is that the nervousness is over with when you wake up in the recovery room to your new life.

I won't be able to post closer to your surgery date since I'll be staying at my folks for awhile & they are not connected. Best of Luck & I'll check on how you've done when I get home. Keep smiling!!! Loved your Pepper story, suppose if you didn't eat pepper it would have been something else.

Hi--It will pass quickly and you'll be on the other side before you know it. I took the time before surgery to mentally prepare myself for what I can and cannot eat post op. I believe that has made it much easier for me because I can say to myself, you knew this. It's amazing to me (2 weeks post op) the variety that I can eat. I couldn't hang with the pureed stuff and chose to chew and chew and chew solid foods, I get much more satisfaction out of eating a little bit of chicken than I ever used to. I get full quickly and my energy level is all ready up quite a bit. Good luck to you and take care.
