"They were just awesome. I can't say enough good things about BTC. My surgeon was competent, experienced, compassionate, patient, caring...had a GREAT bedside manner. The nurses were, for the most part, very attentive, sympathetic and friendly. The facility was very clean. From the initial consultation to my post-op check-ups and everything in between, BTC has been top notch! Kudos to BTC of Michigan!"

"Dr. Lane impressed me as a highly skilled, caring and compassionate surgeon. He seems to truly enjoy helping obese people get healthy again. Also, he seems to understand that we are not all fat just because we have no will power or because we are lazy. He made me feel very comfortable with him, as well as with my decision to have this surgery. Dr. Lane emphasizes aftercare VERY STRONGLY. He points out that it's VERY IMPORTANT to work with your nutritionist and to call if you have ANY questions at all after you get home from the hospital or if you notice anything at all out of the ordinary...no matter how small you may think it is. He was very graceful about addressing the risks involved. He thoroughly explained the risks without scaring me half to death. As far as whether his surgical competence or bedside manner is better, I can't say yet because I haven't had my surgery yet. So far, though, if I were to take a guess....I'd have to say probably both aspects about him are wonderful! :)"
