Hi Cassandra, congratulations on your decision to have this surgery! You are slightly over 2 weeks away from your re-birthday, the first day of the rest of your life. You have chosen to fight and to live!!! I am so proud of you. These next two weeks are going to fly by. Sit yourself down on the rollercoaster and buckle yourself in. For a while it's going to feel like everything is out of control, your emotions are going to go from side to side. Know that this is "normal". I'd be worried if you didn't get this wild ride. What to do when this happens? Contact your Angel (if you have one). If you don't have one post on the California Board that you need an Angel, and keep posting every day until you get one. Also please come in to the CA Board and keep posting. Let us know how you are feeling. No question is "silly" or "stupid"! You will find this Board soooo supportive and willing to share information with you. During this time period, eat reasonably, get lots of rest, begin walking. The better shape you're in before surgery, the smoother your recovery will be. Cassandra we look forward to welcoming you to the losers' side! Attend support group meetings. (((((((hugs))))) Leonard
