I wanted to wish you well with your upcoming surgery. I hope that all goes well and that you are up and out and about real soon. I'll bet you are are doing a happy dance accompanied by a bundle of unwanted "NERVES", but don't worry be HAPPY! You are in my thoughts and prayers. Good Luck!

Hi Karen! I just thought I'd let you know a few things about my exprience with cigna. I'm having my surgery on May 22 at the same place as you. I started my journey in Jan. and was approved in April. It took btc 3 wks to send off my paper work and then 4 weeks for cigna to approve me. Then it took another 3 weeks for a date. I was told by btc to call cigna at least once a week. every time I called I spoke with a different person and they all told me something different. I finally got really frustrated and calledbtc back and spoke with my insurance rep. and she told me that anyone with cigna should not call. She said she had one woman who got an approval letter one day and the very next got a denial letter. I know it is hard,but really your best bet is to not call. Just make sure that you have an answering machine. Oh, and btc got the approval letter before I did by a whole week. I wish you the best of luck with this! I'll say a prayer for you!
