"The first consultation with Dr. Bosquez was very informative and small. There were about 4-5 of us at the appointment. We didn't have to go to any other place for the consultation it was right in the office. Lori, Joy and Gina were very helpful. It was a very welcoming atmosphere. It only took 5 business days for the office to contact me to tell me that I had been approved. I had surgery Feb. 14th. The night before the surgery Dr. Bosquez called to see if I was doing OK and if I had any questions. He came in to see me at the hospital once and sometimes twice a day, even on the weekend and Valentine's Day. I had a question about my insicion when I got home and I called Lori and she took down all the information and with a couple of hours HE called me back. While in the hospital we learned that Dr. Bosquez hasn't had any leak incidents. When I was going for my leak test my wife asked the doctor what the % of leaks was for him. The nurses talk very highly of Dr. Bosquez. They say he's very maticuluous (ms).
If you are considering this surgery, consider going to the floor that specializes in this and ask some questions about the surgeon you are picking...1) What is the % of return patients due to complications for this surgeon? 2) What is the % of infections in patients for this surgeon? 3) What % of deaths for this surgeons? 4) How often do you see this surgeon visit patients? 5) How many does this surgeon do on an average day?
It's not always best that a surgeon do MANY surgeries a day. It's the QUALITY of work they do NOT QUANITY. "
