Tomorrow it will be 6 weeks since my surgery. The time has just flown by. I went back to work last week. I was tired by the end of my first day. The rest of the week was much better. At my two week check-up I lost 14 lbs...yeah! I haven't weighed myself since. I have my 6 week check up on Thursday, I'll find out then how much more weight I have lost. There is a part of me that is afraid to weigh myself. I guess its all those years of failed diet atempts. I know I have lost is shows in my face as well as my baggy pants. Not to mention I have found that I once again have a waist. I'm hoping after Thursday I won't be so afraid of the scale. I've mostly been a lurker since I found this site last summer. I promise to post more. I read the boards daily and look at other peoples profiles. The before and after pictures inspire me. If I can figure a way to get my picture from the disc on to the site I would post it. Also how do I get a profile page? Do I just use my surgery page? As you can see I'm not that great with computers. :-) May 2003 bring all your hearts desires~Hugs~ Lisa
