Hello all. Sharon had her surgery 06/26. Dr Shina placed her in ICU but we are not completely sure why. We have heard that it had something to do with her breathing but then we've also heard that it was because they did not have an empty bed for her. I just called the hospital (502-893-1000) today 6/28 at 2:45pm and they said she is still in ICU and there are no phones so I have not been able to speak to her. A friend stopped in to see her earlier today and said that she appears to be doing well and is looking forward to being moved to a regular room. Good luck Sharon. It's been a long fight Sharon, but you won, and now it is finally surgery day! My thoughts and prayers are with you today and for a speedy recovery. You deserve only the health and happiness, and you've taken the biggest step in that direction....the rest is gonna be a piece of cake!
