Well, I'm almost 7 weeks out and I'm starting to see some changes. Some of my tighter clothes are starting to fit a bit looser. Physically I feel really good. No more pains, my scars are healing nicely. My appetite is definately not the same. I could probably go all day with only one meal. I am getting most of my fluids in most of the time. Some days it is very easy to get all of my liquids in. I do feel a bit tired some days. I ate my first meal with real meat in it (pork chop) yummy. It went down really well. I need to work a bit more on the exercise part. I am very anxious to lose the weight, but I guess I'm pretty used to having it. I found some really nice strength training exercises on the internet. I need to do them and I also need to start walking again.

07/26/01 I just had my three week check-up. I am eating good, getting most of my water in. Best of all I have lost 17 lbs. I didn't think I would do that well. I sure don't see any difference yet. I just want to keep the pounds coming off. I feel pretty well with the exception of the pain in my lower ribs. The doctor said it is because of the trocars, and cutting through muscle. The pain should go away in about a week.
