I talked with Glenn, Karen's husband (a sweet guy), and he said that Karen went in to surgery at 2:00 and was out at 3:30. The doctor told him everything went great. Glenn said that when she woke up in recovery he asked her if she was hurting and she said "YES" and he knew she meant it! She is in ICU for a few hours and has her morphine button at the ready....Welcome to the other side Karen !! Love Ya Girl !!
Hi everyone. I just wanted to take a few moments to thank everyone who has posted to my site with words of encouragement. This means so much. I always felt like I was the only one who know how I felt, but this web site has shown me that I have a wonderful support group and I am not alone. I leave for the hospitol in about 45 minuts and would like to ask all of you out there to say a prayer for all of us who are having surgery today. Wishing all of you the best of the best and all of God's blessings. Karen

Hello, Karen.
I had surgery at Bellaire Hospital, too.
Congratulations on beginning this journey to a new life... you won't regret it!
I will keep you in my thoughts, and hope to see you soon over here, On The Other Side.
