Today is one year that I had my open RNY. It was the best thing I've done. I'm down 144# and feeling good. I would reccomend this to most anyone who has tried every other way to get healthy. LIFE IS GOOD!

I'm on the other side...a big thank you to my angel Debbie, for her posts and concern and to Joanna for visiting. I'm tired but I am only 4 days post op...It is great to be home ( I came home yesterday) my own bed...yea....I will try to post soon...need to get my energy back.....thanks to every one for their prayers and wishes...Please still keep me in your prayers...Thank you all

Angel coming in for final landing. Lyn is home!!!! I called the hospital yesterday to check up on her and she had been sent home.....seems they needed the bed for someone who was sick....Lyn is just an amazing woman. She had her open RNY on Thursday and went home on Sunday. Now that's what I call an over achiever!!!!!! I talked to her last night and other than being tired and a little sore she said she was good. She sounded tired but still her perky self. Please send her you well wishes and tips for a speedy recovery. I will be hanging up my wings for now. We love you Lyn.

Talked to Lyn yesterday and she is doing FANTASTIC. She has been up and walking and sat in her chair for almost 4 hours. She is taking broth and juice with no problems. She sounds just like her old self and if I didn't know it I would never know she just had surgery. Way to go Lyn !! I know she would love to get your emails for when she gets home. Knowing Lyn, she will be at the computer as soon as she get home. Signing off for today. Debbie

**SUBSTITUTE ANGEL** I stopped by to see Lyn also because I didn't know if her Angel Debbie Viren would be able to get out to her (she herself is recouping...Howdy Ms. Debbie). She was just getting in the chair for the first time. In some pain (her back though not her tummy). Was extremely grateful to be on the other side. Smiled wide. Yea! The Luckiest Angel

Hi, this is Debbie Viren and I am Lyn's Angel. She had surgery at UCLA this morning and we just talked to her husband, Irv, and he said all went well. Way to go Lyn !!!! I will update you all as soon as I hear more, hopefully this afternoon.
