Hi Dawn, I wanted to write and let you know that you have made a good decision for yourself. My bestfriend had WLS 5 years ago, and I said "never, would I have that done". Then a couple years ago, I thought about it. But last year, it was my time. It really needs to be the right thing for you at the right time. Now, I am 3 1/2 months post-op lap RNY, and very happy I did this. It is not easy at the beginning, but it is well worth it. It is ok that you cancelled your surgery, but I am happy you rescheduled it for later, GOOD LUCK WITH EVERYTHING! ~ Sandy

Ohhh great! I chickened out and cancelled my surgery date :o( My new date is August 26, 2003 and I WILL NOT cancel this one!!!!! I need to convince my husband that this is the best thing for ME. Wish me luck!
