Hi Hilary: I am mormon too and I know how you feel I question some things too. I have found that most things dont change. taking the sacrement is just fine even newly post op. I havent found anything much different since surgery. I did find that most fast food restraunts dont have any thing for us to drink except water. I have slipped afew times because I have drank very watered down tea once in a while because I needed something other than water. I hope this passes very soon.I am an convert as of about 10 years ago.I am still strugging with tithe paying.I now ask sonic to water down cherry lime aid and that works for me.I cant stand real sweet tasting stuff. once in a while i eat the top off a icecream cone an then give it to my dog and once in a while I will have a gramcracker or a nilla waffer.These things are allowed on a dibetic diet so I feel if I only eat them onece in a while it is ok.I have lost 75 lbs in 3 months so I am happy with what I do and I feel Heavenly father is too.Please write me at [email protected] if you would like to talk more.

I wanted to congratulate you on your upcoming surgery!!! I'll bet you're doing a happy dance accompanied by some "NERVES", but don't worry be happy!! You are in my thoughts and prayers, I hope everything goes well and you are up and out and about real soon!!!
