Scottsdale Healthcare Shea Campus (COE)

"I don't think that my complaints were heard. I remarked several times that my IV was very painful and my arm hurt. They repeatedly told me that someone would be along to check it. No one ever did and as a result, the IV had infiltrated and the fluids had been pumping directly into my arm and surrounding tissues. This created enormous problems when I needed medication for vomiting and dangerously high blood pressure. "

Cash Beechler

"This sleep center was relatively new and the room was very clean and comfortable. They had gone to great lengths to ensure that the accomodations were the best possible. I fell right to sleep and except for the wake-up to put the CPAP on, I sleep very well. Actually, I slept very well for someone with severe sleep apnea. It was a very positive experience overall."

Robin P. Blackstone

"I enjoyed my meeting with Dr. Blackstone. She was very easy to talk to and extremely interested in me as a person, not just a patient. This was very reassuring. I am very confident that choosing her as my surgeon is the best decision I could have made. Dr. Blackstone explained everything that the program entails and was very emphatic about being committed to the program. She stressed the importance of aftercare, the risks of the surgery and what could be expected. This is a 'tool' and not a fix-all for a desperate dieter. Overall, I think you will succeed if you follow the program and listen to what she says."
