Well my job as angel is officially over. Loren is home!! She was released from the hospital today! She has already lost 3 pounds! Just the first of many honey! I really enjoyed being your angel and you mean the world to me! Woo hooo for you! Its my turn this Friday! Hope I do as well as you!

This is actually Loren's sister, Kerry. I visited with Loren tonight and she looks great. She was walking already. They're going to have her walk every 4 hours even during the night. She said she feels good except for the spasms. I was there when she came out of surgery and spoke with her doctor. They had to make the incision because the instruments weren't long enough and they were having trouble getting where they needed to get. The doctor was happier that they made the incision because she knows they did a good job and the surgery went well. She will probably be in the hospital until Tues or Wed. Loren will recover nicely. I'll keep you posted!

Well.. guess who answered her phone~! Loren!!! She sounds great.. a little tired... and a little out of it. Well, she is disappointed a bit that they did Open RNY instead of Lap.. she doesnt know why yet. She doesnt have a NG tube but does have the catheter, IV and drainage tubes. She doesnt have a private room. She had to stay in recovery all day long because there werent any rooms available until tonight. She is finally in her room as of 30 minutes ago. Loren said she was sore of course and was having weird like..tummy contractions that were coming and going. She is in good spirits and I asked her if there was anything she would like me to tell the chat room to her buds and she said "woo hoo". LOL. thats my Loren! So happy for you honey..I cant wait till its my turn!

Woo hoo! Loren is officially on the other side!!!!!!!!!! I just spoke with the nurses desk and they said she is in recovery. She just got out of surgery 20 minutes ago and is in a pretty deep sleep (I BET!). The nurse said that she would tell her I called and that I should try calling back later tonight (I will!). She said that Loren had no complications and it went very smooth! Congrats Loren on your re-birth! I luvs ya!
