Just wanted to update everyone on my last appointment (July 20th). At 17 days post op I had lost 27 lbs. Whoo Hoo!

I also want to thank Christine from Fla, for all the long distance calls and posts she made to keep people up to date, I was one very lucky person, I have Three very special angels!!! Thanks again Debbie, Christine, and Cindy!!!

Just want to say thank-you for all the well wishers and for my special angels, Debbie Toler was the greatest!!!So up beat and such a great help when it was truly needed, (she went so far as to help me with my first shower on day 3. Thank you Cindy (club angel) for stoping by with wishes from Dr. Anez's Staple Club. I'm doing really well, or at least I think I'm. Came back to work today...day 14. Last Thursday was day 10, had the staples removed and I have lost 22 pounds woo hoo! Just wanted to say thank-you to everyone for the well wishes and to let you know I'm back in action....feel great, see some of you at the Staple-Club meeting tonight at Fairoaks.

Went by to see Debby this morning and she was just returning from a walk!!! She was having some stomach spasms which were like labor pains which was not so good. She is sucking on her ice and doing her walking and even had a visit from another of Dr.Anez's patients (Dolly) from down the hall with a promise to return the favor and walk down to see Dolly later. I checked back with her about 2:30 and she had been on that walk to see Dolly and was feeling better with the spasms (she found out she was trying to protect her tummy too much and that had set the spasms in motion).I'll check on her in the morning before I go to work so if you have anything you want forwarded to her..drop me a line at [email protected] or leave a message here on her page and I'll print it and take it up to her! THanks!!

Hi Debby, Hope you are doing well, I was looking at the surgery page today and saw your name. Since I live just down the road from you I thought it would be the nieghborly thing to post you a get well note. I hope all goes well with you. I will be haveing my surgery on July 24 at the Medical College of Virginia and will be where you are now. So we can live close together and support each other as well. Please feel free to contact me. Debby had her surgery this morning..and was due up to her room at any time when I had to leave which was 2:15pm. I spoke with the nurse and she said she did very well. I left her a colorful balloon with that we were thinking of her..and I'll print out her cards (things you people wrote on her page for her) and take them up to her tomorrow.
