Shelli's ex called me this AM, said she sailed through surgery (2 hours) and was still in Recovery but doing fine. I figured if she was like me, she'd need to sleep awhile, but will be calling her at the hospital soon and will update again then. She is a strong, funny woman and went into this with her eyes wide open and well-educated about all aspects of WLS, the only way to do it. Send healing thoughts Shelli's way, please you all, we postops know that the first 2 days are the hardest. Angel signing off....

Shelli is cleaning her house, getting ready this weekend for "the big day" Tuesday morning 10/23. She is nervous, anxious to get this over with, a feeling I know all of us can relate to.
