"Dr. Jawad is a no non-sense type of guy, however very friendly and is very helpful.His nurse Tammie is great . She is his Right-hand-woman. They were all very friendly nd very supportive.He insists that everyone attend a few support group meetings befor and after the surgery. Munroe Regional Medical Center has them every last Thursday of the month. I plan on going.He did address the risks of surgery , however did not put great emphasis on them since they are few and far between.On a scale of 1-10 I rate him a nine. The only reason being is because it took a while just to be able to actualy get an appt. to see him. I guess he is very busy.Surgical competence I would rate is his greatest thing going....I have had no problems...no vomiting, minimal nausea, and I am able to drink almost normally again already."
