"I was not particularly impressed with the hospital's staff. I can say that Dr. Provost and his 'personal' staff made my stay LOTS easier for me."

David Provost

"My first impression of Dr. Provost was that he looked very young. After seeing him a few times, I realised that he was very interested in helping me and he would go to any lengths to do so. I weighed 700 pounds before the surgery, and he was very concerned for my health and well being. His staff was very helpful too. I had never seen such a compassionate group in my life. I can't really say that there was anything about Dr. Provost that I didn't like. I got mad at him several times while I was still in the hospital after my surgery, but now that I look back on it, he was only doing what was best for me. If I had to rate him on a scale of 1 to 10...I would give him a 12. There was an after care program lined up for me, but I lived too far away to go to this all the time. Now I wish I had taken more advantage of it. He explained the risks of surgery very well. I was extremely scared, but I also knew that if I didn't have this done, I was going to die. Being 24 years old at the time and weighing near 700 pounds was a definite health risk. His surgical competence, and bedside manner were both AWSOME. If I had to do it all over again, I would do it in a heartbeat...and I would definitely want Dr. Provost as my surgeon."
