Marie, Hi from coastal Alabama. Prayers going up for you right now, Healing in Jesus's name. Be in a good frame of mind on Saturday and be Positive. I know it will be hard with reading what you have gone through. Quote I can do all things through Jesus Christ who strenthens me. Say it over and over and build yourself up with a few bible scriptures that you can quote to your body. MINUTE BY MINUTE. Thank you Jesus we have this sight to go to and others can understand our needs. We ARE NOT ALONE. WE HAVE SUFFERED ENOUGH AND WANT A LIFE . HUGS, Karen

I saw my surgeon today.....I am 3 months post-op and down 64lbs,....I am waiting for my GI doc to do ab EGD, I am very nauous all the time, and throw up allot.....I just have to habg on, and wait for that appoitment for the dilation of my stoma.

Dear Marie, I want to wish you a speedy recovery. It is unfortunate that you are experiencing some problems. I want you to know that I'm praying for you. I pray each night for all our sisters and brothers here at AMOS, pre-ops and post-ops alike all need support. I hope you are home soon and feeling well. Karen

Hi Marie, I'm a friend of your angel( Maxine) and she wanted me to let you know that her computer crashed and thats why she hasn't got to be in touch with you sinced she faxed you your surgery page and to say she is so sorry, we are also praying for you Marie to be healing as fast as possible, Maxi will be in touch as soon as she is able to get her p.c. back online and oh yeah , she said to say that she tryed to call and they said that you didn't have a phone in your room. get well real soon , your W.V. friends.

Hi Marie, Glad to hear that you are starting to feel a little better. I am Debra Rubin's angel and she was so worried about you. She had been calling the hospital the night before her surgery trying to get info on you but had no luck. I will pass on the good news to her. I spoke wth her daughter last night and Deb's surgery went well. Hopefully all your problems are behind you now and your journey will be smoother. Good luck and please know that you have alot of people praying for you!!

Hi everyone, NJ angel checking in. I saw Marie at the hospital tonight and she looks better than she thinks. Due to the close dates of our surgeries, I was not planning on being Marie's angel but looks like I will do the local updates. Marie is in the surgical ICU and has been there since Tuesday. On Monday I spoke with Dr. Schmidt at my one week post op check and he said the surgery went very well. Dr. Schmidt was reversing a procedure he had done previously and then went on to do the Lap RNY. Everything went well in surgery however on Tuesday when Marie went to get out of bed she felt very faint and was having trouble breathing. Well, it seems she acquired a blood clot. She is doing well and is getting as much rest as she can. It would be wonderful for everyone to show her additional support at this time. She is wondering if it will all be worth it. I printed the postings to date and brought them with me to the hospital, I read some to her and left the list so she could read them on her own. I think it would really boost her spirits if I could print more and bring them to her over the weekend. Marie is strong but as we all understand, this is major surgery and she could use some additional support now at this rough spot. Hang in there Marie. Love and Hugs, Sheralee

dear marie today was your surgery and you were on my mind all day. I hope everything went well and I hope your sisters have come around. They need to support you in your decision no matter what they might think. I will try to call you at the hospital tommorrow and hopefully I can get to talk with you before my surgery on Thursday. All the best and i'll meet you on the lighter side soon!!!!!!!
