"Their dietary portion of the bariatric surgery was lacking. The nursing staff did not fully understand the dietary part either. I even heard some of hte nurses talking about learning more about the bariatric diet so as to help the patients better. "
"Dr. Armstrong was very pleasant, very personable, easy to talk to. My impression only changed for the better after the surgery, because he took the time to make sure either he or whichever consultant I needed was there to manage my health while in the hospital and afterwards. His office staff are very helpful, very understanding, some of them have been through this as well.
On addressing the risks of surgery, he was very straight forward, and I and my family knew there were no guarantees, but he would do to the best of his ability to care for me surgically.
He is an excellent surgeon, very, very competent, and has an excellent bedside manner. Both of those are important.
Dr. Armstrong is a very busy man, it is somewhat difficult to get in to see him.
I also did have complications during surgery that were unforeseen, but Dr. Armstrong did take care of those problems surgically and medically.
